What’s new – Life After Loss Project

This project is a mental health support project providing 4 FREE sessions of professional and confidential counselling to those affected by loss and bereavement.

During the Coronavirus crisis, we have all lost something. Some of us may be grieving the loss of a loved one or friend, a work colleague, or a role model. Some of us are grieving other losses within our lives, such as our planned future, our relationship, our independence, or even our livelihood. This project offers emotional and psychological support to explore and work through your loss or bereavement in a safe environment.

This project is very close to Beata’s heart. She lost her kind and loving father and misses him greatly. As a victim of domestic abuse for many years, he suffered in silence while showing unconditional love and support to Beata. He was her rock, her inspiration, and also her friend. His death hit her hard and has continued to be a driving force in her mission to emotionally and psychologically support men in their fight against mental health.

This project is also very close to Rachel’s heart. She lost her father who was her safe place at the age of 11 years old just a few days before Christmas, and then when she was 22 years old she nursed her best friend and mother through terminal pancreatic cancer until the end. Her mother was her inspiration to reach for the stars and never give up. She grew up knowing she was loved and feels truly grateful for their guidance and support.

Both of our directors have experienced the devastation of grief and loss, and are very passionate about supporting those suffering through loss and bereavement.

Our agency normally works solely with men. However …
This project is for anyone and everyone over the age of 16 that has experienced loss or bereavement and is suffering emotionally or psychologically.

Any gender.
Any race.
Any religion.
Living anywhere.
