- Deliver counselling, training or workshops
- Keep people safe
- Meet our legal responsibilities

- Payment information
- Information you share during counselling

If you receive counselling, we will keep brief professional notes. These are stored securely.
Why do we collect it?
We collect your information to:
- Provide the service you’ve asked for
- Keep you and others safe
- Meet safeguarding duties
- Issue certificates (for training/CPD)
- Send information you’ve asked for
We do not sell your data. Ever.
Is counselling information kept confidential?
Yes.
Everything you share in counselling is confidential, except in rare situations where:
- There is serious risk of harm to you or someone else
- There is a safeguarding concern
- We are legally required to share information
If we ever need to break confidentiality, we aim to discuss it with you where possible.
How is my data stored?
We use:
- Secure, encrypted record systems
- Password-protected devices
- Limited staff access
- Secure email systems
We take data protection seriously and follow UK GDPR rules.
How long do you keep my information?
- Counselling records are usually kept for 7 years
- Financial records are kept as required by law
- Marketing information is kept until you unsubscribe
After that, information is securely deleted.
Do you share my information?
Only when necessary.
We may share information with:
- Your counsellor or trainer
- Clinical supervisors (without identifying details where possible)
- Safeguarding authorities if required
- Secure payment providers
We never share personal information with employers without your permission (unless legally required).
What are my rights?
You have the right to:
- See what information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct mistakes
- Ask us to delete information (where possible)
- Withdraw consent for marketing

- Do not record sessions
- Keep access links secure
